More Jim Venetos video feedback

Hi, Fred here. I'm back on the course again, but over the past 8 weeks since my leg injury I've been working with Jim Venetos on incorporating his swing method / position into my game. Here's the third video he's reviewed that I'm happy to share with you. My favorite aspect of this is that he sees our front side, from the leg up, as the center of the swing, NOT the spine. This relieves so much back pressure, plus it really helps to make solid contact each time.

Went out for my first round this past weekend and shot 12 over par. Other than my putting being stale from lack of practice, I was pretty excited for my results. I was hitting a draw consistently of the first time, had more distance, and even my short game was pretty good.

Take a look for your self as to what Jim had to offer and let me know what you think! Fred@GolfSmarterPodcast.com

510 Premium: Taking One Shot At A Time…Easy To Think. Harder To Do!

510: Jim Venetos has exposed us to a entirely new thought process on ball striking over the last few Golf Smarter Podcast episodes, and the feedback from listeners has been incredible. If you’ve been paying attention to his advice, you’re probably hitting the ball more consistently, with a draw, and probably even further. But Jim also talks about having a balanced “Mind. Body. Soul.” approach to the game. In this episode, we dig into visualization, which is what he considers the ‘soul’ aspect of the game. This is the ability to be creative, to see the shot before you hit it, and the ability to feel the shot before you hit it. We close the show with a tip that is also a video on our GolfSmarterTV channel. If you’ve been listening to Jim on the podcast, you really owe it to yourself to watch the really helpful videos that compliment the conversations. The latest is called “How To Make Your Next Golf Shot Using Visualization”

Jim Venetos Reviews Video of Fred's Setup

My rehab progress is going well! While working on my new Jim Venetos setup, I was ready to send him a video for his review. Wanna see what he had to say?

Jim Venetos continued explanation

Over the last few episodes (with one more on the way), Jim Venetos has been sharing his very compelling swing method that answers the biggest concerns of most amateur golfers.

  1. More consistency
  2. More distance
  3. Cure my out-to-in swing path

Oh, did we also mention that you'll experience increased distance?!?

What's not to like? No other teacher that we've had on GOLF SMARTER uses this method, and many have not heard about it.

But according to his students, it works! And works well.

Somethings have me very interested in incorporating this method into my game.

  • I want to hit a consistent draw
  • My new Ben Hogan irons are blades after only hitting cavity backed clubs my entire golf career.
  • Since injuring my leg, I like the idea of less movement during the swing.

With that said, I thought you may enjoy watching and hearing Jim's lessons directly to me.

Here's the first where he gives some graphic examples of weight shift.
